The second step is to assemble the things prepared for the corner shelves. It includes assembling or clamping down the piece of one-and-one-half” before you screw 6 ½ x 3 ½ pieces. There are a minimum of two screws needed per piece.

Step 3:

Drill your nail into two pieces and assemble the frames.

Step 4:

Once your frames are ready, the fun part begins for corner shelves. If you haven’t thought about where to place your corner shelves, the best and easiest way is to imagine a good space, a sound-coloured or painted colour, and accessible height. Of course, you don’t have to assemble the corner shelves at a very high location; that makes it tiring whenever you try to pick up or put something there. When you have decided on the location, it’s time to find studs assemble the materials, and prepare a shelve.

How To Start With It?

Take a blue painter’s tape with three strips, prepare the bottom of the shelves, and make your way upward. First, install all the pieces there, and use some fasteners to do a great job. The design you prefer must be sturdy and robust so that you don’t have to worry about the weight you need to put on it.

Don’t you think you need caulk around the shelves? It will help you minimize the dusting. Thus, it would be best if you taped the wall of your home when you want to use another paint over it. Even if you don’t do it, it will look good, but when you use details on the wall, it will make the home interior even brighter and better.

The final step of the summary of all these steps includes the stuff you want to put and arrange on the floating corner shelve. Do it and make it look professional like hotels, and surprise your guests with the corner decoration next time they visit.

Thing To Consider While Making Floating Corner Shelve:

  • The corner selection to install the floating corner shelves must have the capacity of bearing weight or load carried by the corner shelves because some types of wooden corners may get damaged. So, you must select the concrete corner.
  • Also, take care while installing the studs because it may hurt your hands if you use a hammer at the wrong place and time. First, before installing the studs, make small holes of stud length with the drill machine, and then apply impacts on the studs.
  • Install pieces one by one, but remember to keep all at water level, so the corner shelves don’t have imbalance or imperfections seen from the front or side.
  • It would be best if you made sure that the walls are perfectly fine, have a 90° angle made by two walls, and the corner has no corrections needed before installing the corner shelves.
  • The distance from the corner to one stud on wall one must be equal and in one line with the distance between the corner and the stud hole on the other hand. So, the weight transformation to the wall becomes equal, and the corner shelves don’t have to bear unnecessary weight.
  • Once you decide to colour or paint your corner shelves, you must either paint them with the same colour or understand the best and light colour combination that can make the interior even better.
  • Use at least two rounds of paint to make the paint impactful, or else the effects of the wood colours will appear, which won’t be good for the home.

Design Considerations For Floating Corner Shelve:

  • The first design consideration is to decide the theme of the corner shelves. For example, you may want to paint it with different patterns or keep it plain.
  • The next thing to remember is to decide why you want to use the floating corner shelve. According to that, you need the theme and colour. Also, the home interior’s colour must match the corner shelves.
  • The themes like islands, seashore created with sands and other things for flower pots, plants, and decoration trees look more beautiful.
  • Similarly, when you want the book corner shelves, you must give them the library look. Libraries have professionally painted wooden shelves. So, there is no need for an eye-catching or attractive design. It must be cool, calming, and light in colour that is professional.
  • The shape of the wall or corner shelves also matters. Both sides of the shelves have no shapes, but the corner of the corner shelves in the air needs you to give a better shape. You can keep it around a right angle, cone-like triangle, or any other desired shape.

How To Make Your Corner Shelve Productive?

Do you know when any space is called productive? The spaces like wall shelves or floating corner shelves are productive only when they have the specific theme of things that are put and arranged on them. For example, if you have no ideas how to arrange the shelves, you may be mixing the stuff, and there will be no arrangement in them, but that looks like you are not interested in making things perfect. If you put too many things on corner shelves like mobiles, chargers, and all electronic items, books, and TV remotes or AC remotes, it will look like a junkyard or the items. But when you arrange everything in its place, it will make your corner shelves productive and beautifully arranged.
